Queenstown Wine Region
The Central Otago wine region is known around the world as being some of the best. The six sub regions are known for their different specialties due to their different climates and altitudes.
We really do recommend visiting at least one of these wineries but if you can spare a couple of hours, jump on one of the Wine Tours so you can really make the most of tasting these beautiful wines.
If you were going to pick one to visit for lunch, our favorite is the artisan kitchen at Akarua Winery. Sit outside in their stunning courtyard and enjoy some of the most delicious food and wine you’ll ever have. They have an amazing kids’ menu too!
