Doubtful Sound
You might be surprised to learn that there are 2 beautiful Sounds in Fiordland. Doubtful Sound is also one that can be visited from your base here in Queenstown. Don’t be fooled by the fact that it is the less well known, it is often the favorite amongst the Fiordland locals.
Departing from Manapouri, cruise across the lake to the Wilmot pass where your coach will climb up and over the pass and through Fordland’s incredible rainforest.
You will join a remote 3 hour cruise in Doubtful Sound where you may not even see another boat, but you are very likely to be joined by dolphins and fur seals
