The Best Brunch in Queenstown

The options are endless for great breakfast spots to visit while you’re in town, in fact - we think we’ve got some of the best cafe’s in New Zealand and we’re about to share some of our favourite ones with you.

The Boat Shed

This one’s our favourite! These guys do some of the best food and coffee in town and the biggest bonus is that they’re a short 10 minute stroll along the lakes edge from Driftaway. The menu changes monthly but between all the menu items and the delicious cabinet selection, there most certainly is something for everyone. We love the roasted kumara, potatoes, pan fried brussel sprouts, harissa & walnuts, poached eggs & herb hollandaise paired with a Tumeric Latte.

Buzz Stop Cafe

Tucked away off the main road in Frankton is this gorgeous little spot! Great food and a cozy vibe indoors for the colder months. Buzz stop is part of a series of small stores that make up a great day out. Crafts, local goodies and lots for the kids to do can be found here at Buzz Stop. We’re big fans of their local coffees & seasonal menu which often has too many choices - they all look so good.

Franks Eatery

Just down the road in Frankton is Frank’s. We love the vibe of this place and its fresh and delicious menu. We’re a sucker for their freshly squeezed OJ too! Handmade bagels, incredible cabinet goodies and crazy shakes are sure to be a hit with the kids. We love ordering all things Eggs Bene here - yum

Yonder

In the heart of Queenstown on Church Street, you’ll find this gem of a spot. These guys are well known for catering to pretty much every dietary requirement under the sun without compromising on flavour and flare in their food. Sit out in the sun and enjoy people watching from the patio or cozy up inside and take in the cool and quirky space they’ve created. One of Queenstown's favourite little cafes with some seriously photogenic food is a must visit while you’re in town. It’s only a short 6km bike or walk into town from Driftaway too! Our favourites on the menu would be the Passionfruit Cheese Cake French Toast with a coconut chai latte.

There are a heap of great places to grab delicious food and drinks here in town but these are some of our must visits that aren't too far from Driftaway that you can enjoy. If you try them out let us know your favourite!
